Giving to The Church of the Messiah

Financial support maintains the life and work of the church.

You may give in person during a service through the collection plate by cheque or in cash. You may also mail a donation to the church office.

You may give online and receive an immediate tax receipt through our Canada Helps page. You may make a one-time gift or set up a monthly donation to help the church plan ahead.

Giving to the Avenue Road Food Bank

  • Online Donations: From the church’s Canada Helps page, select the Food Bank from the available fund option.
  • Cheques: Write “Food Bank” (or similar) in the cheque memo line.

Giving by Cheque

Please mail any donations by cheque to the church office. Mail is collected regularly. Tax receipts are prepared annually in February. Please ensure you provide a mailing address for a tax receipt and notify the office of any change of address.

Pre Authorized Giving

PAR (Pre-Authorized Remittance), in which a donation is taken from your bank account once a month, is available. With PAR,  you can split your donation between the Church, the food bank, the Anglican Primates Fund, and other areas that we support.
