The Church of the Messiah (Anglican) is on the corner of Avenue Road and Dupont in Toronto. We seek to transform lives by offering a rich encounter with the living God. We gather for worship every Sunday morning at 10:30 am. Sunday school for children.
The Messiah has been seeking God and serving this neighborhood of Toronto for more than 125 years. We are fresh, informal, and highly engaged. Messiah is the kind of place where sermons are followed by discussion time and kids have free reign to be kids–but that doesn’t stop us from enjoying beautiful music and the fullness of Anglican-style worship.
As well as hosting the Avenue Road Food Bank, we also host the Summerhill Orchestra which is conducted by our Minister of Music, Sarah John.
The Messiah is part of the Anglican Diocese of Toronto, which includes more than 200 church communities in the GTA and beyond.
